Capt Billy Black has been a professional fisherman for over 30 years. His sportfishing boat, the 50 foot Hatteras "Duchess", was the premier charter boat out of Walker's Cay for most of that time. During his long tenure in the Bahamas, Capt Billy Black has had, at one time or another, many of the Bahamian record catches for Blue Marlin, White Marlin, Bluefin Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Dolphin, Wahoo, and Sailfish.

Today, Captain Billy Black is running "El Viejo", by anyone's definition, a classic 53 foot Rybovich sportfishing machine! El Viejo and the Billy Black fishing team have all the gear necessary to chase down the biggest marlin, to boat that monster wahoo, or drag up your denizen of the deep.

Capt Billy Black was raised in Madison County, Florida, hunting for rabbits, hogs, deer, quail, dove, and gators. He has lived life as an avid hunter and an outdoorsman. Capt Billy is fond of saying that he is most at peace when surrounded by nature and the great outdoors. Well, there's no lack of that in Bimini, and there sure are fish to keep a fisherman like Captain Billy busy, so it's a natural that he and his El Viejo are now docked at the Big Game Club, offering our guests the "top of class" offshore angling experience .

Charter Rates for the 2011 fishing season aboard "El Viejo" are:

The rate includes all first class tackle including terminal tackle, dead bait and chum, all licenses, ice for drinks and fish, and professional fish cleaning/packing. Lunches can be provided by the Big Game Bar & Grill for a small additional cost with advance notice. And there's no added charge for spending time with Captain Billy, learning his secrets to becoming a better offshore angler!

50% Deposit is required on all advance bookings, with the balance due upon departure.
