I have visited Bimini every year since 1986, seen things decay, recover, decay, recover but the soul of Bimini, though damaged by the greedy and destructive Bimini Bay development, has endured - friendly people, turquoise water, white sandy beaches, diving, fishing, etc. still enough to make it a paradise. The rebirth of the Bimini Big Game Club, guided the professionals who made this a reality and the watchful environmental eye of Dr. Guy Harvey, has assured a bright future for Hemingway's "Islands in the Stream". The Big Game Club is once again an oasis of comfort, beauty and class for the boater and beachcomber alike. The professionalism of the staff canot be overemphasized. I had the privilege of staying in the marina before during and after the official Grand Opening and was, along with all of the other guests, treated like a king. The ceremonies celebrated so much of what makes Bimini, well ....Bimini. The food, service, friendliness and genuine desire to make everything right was extraordinary.
If you come to Bimini be sure to visit/stay at the Big Game Club. You won't be disaapointed. |
